1.冷却系统的功用与类型冷却系统的功用是使内燃机的受热零件(气缸套、气缸盖、活塞及气门等),在适宜的温度状态下工作,以保证工作可靠、耐久和良好的动力与经济指标。发动机工作时,混合气在气缸中的燃烧温度高达1800~2000℃左右。燃烧所产生的热量,有一部分传给与高温气体接触的机件,如气缸套、气缸盖、活塞及气门等。它们由于吸收大量的热而温度升高。如果不进行冷却或冷却不够,将会引起气缸及进气道温度过高,使进入的空气或混合气因受热而膨胀,造成充量减少、功率下降;润滑油粘度降低,影响润滑
