年鉴是年度性的工具书.年鉴的英文是yearbook,由年和书组成,意思是一个年度的书,我国译为年鉴.年鉴以年为期,一年一鉴,收录上一个年度1月1日至12月31日完整的信息.北京中医药大学年鉴条目编撰的主要任务是记录学校上一年度教育教学的基本情况、重要工作和重大事件,反映学校教育教学改革和发展中的突出成绩和基本经验,为学校领导决策提供参考,为制定规划提供依据,为教学、科研和高校管理工作提供史料.
