“黄安的赵赐吾、麻城的邱江甫、黄陂的臭豆腐。”这话分别说的是鄂豫皖革命根据地初创时期三位传奇式的英雄。“黄陂的臭豆腐”说的是徐海东大将。赵赐吾参加过黄麻起义,当过赤卫队长,红军团长,人称“游击大王”,曾以“一两血肉一两银,一两骨头一两金”遭敌通缉。1932年1月,他率部攻打麻城青山王阁时不幸英勇牺牲。可他的革命故事,至今仍在红安、麻城一带广为流传。
