舍勒对早期资本主义社会的精神病症进行了深刻的价值伦理批判,透析了资本主义社会的人心价值失序、伦理道德品味扭曲、人的精神本质失位,并试图以爱的共契精神构建基督教社会主义以拯救资本主义社会危机。舍勒对资本主义的批判契合了马克思的批判思路,但二者批判的侧重点不同。舍勒所追求的“协调时代”的“爱的共同体”精神如同马克思的“自由人的联合体”的理想一样具有深刻性。
Scheler criticized the psychology of early capitalist society in a deep ethic of value, and explored the devaluation of human values in capitalist society, the distortion of ethical and moral taste, the dislocation of human spirit and the attempt to construct Christianity in the spirit of love Socialism saves the social crisis of capitalism. Scheler’s critique of capitalism fits Marx’s critical thinking, but the two critiques have different emphases. The “community of love” pursued by Scheler sought to be as profound as the ideal of “a coalition of free people” of Marx.
