胰岛素依赖型糖尿病(IDDM)发病过程中有很多证据表明与免疫有密切关系,如IDDM病人可伴有其他自身免疫性疾病或出现与自身免疫密切相关的HLA类型。在糖尿病患者血清中测得胰岛细胞抗体(IGAs)后,人们对IDDM的发病机理已有了较确切的理解。ICAs按其与胰岛细胞结合的部位可分为胰岛细胞胞浆抗体(IGA)与胰岛细胞表面抗体(ICSA)两类。现公认ICAs对IDDM易感个体的鉴定、IDDM发生与发展的监测、糖尿病分型及早期IDDM的免疫抑制治疗等均有重要的价值。
There is a lot of evidence in the pathogenesis of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) that it is closely related to immunity, such as IDDM patients may be associated with other autoimmune diseases or HLA types closely related to autoimmunity. After the detection of islet cell antibodies (IGAs) in the serum of diabetics, there is a more exact understanding of the pathogenesis of IDDM. ICAs can be divided into islet cell cytoplasmic antibody (IGA) and islet cell surface antibody (ICSA) according to the site of islet cell binding. It is recognized that ICAs are of great value in the identification of susceptible individuals to IDDM, the monitoring of the occurrence and development of IDDM, the typing of diabetes and the immunosuppressive therapy of early IDDM.
