~ (10) Be is the product of nuclear reaction between galactic cosmic ray particles and oxygen, magnesium, silicon or nitrogen in meteorites. The reaction threshold energy is generally greater than 500MeV. The half-life of ~ (10) Be is 1.6Ma, which is between ~ (26) Al and ~ (53) Mn. The accumulation of large amounts of meteorite ~ (10) Be data will promote the extra-terrestrial material exposure during 0.5-10 Ma.
