紅鈴虫是棉花生产的大害,安庆沿江各棉区,常年因紅鈴虫为害損失的棉花均在两、三成以上,而且品質大降。据我站1962年在宿松县复兴区测定,被害籽棉的重量要減輕48.7%,纤維长度只达好花的77.8%,可見其为害的严重程度。因此,大力防治紅鈴虫,将其为害控制在最低限度,是确保棉花优質高产的一項重要措施。本文就紅鈴虫越冬防治的几个有关問題作如下討論。 Red bollworm is the great harm of cotton production.
