王文原名刘郁文,1922年8月出生于河北蓟县(今属天津市)。1942年考入北平师范大学历史系。1944年赴晋察冀根据地参加革命,改名王文。1945年8月加入中国共产党。抗战胜利后,受党派遣回北平从事地下工作。北平和平解放后,任北京市委办公厅秘书组组长、叶剑英秘书。1953年被调进中南海,任中共中央办公厅秘书室副科长。反右前夕,因接待林希翎而成为中南海第一批右派。1979年改正错划右派后,被调到全国人大法制工作
Wang Wen, formerly known as Liu Yuwen, was born in August 1922 in Ji County, Hebei Province (now Tianjin). In 1942 admitted to Peking University Normal University Department of history. In 1944 went to the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei base to participate in the revolution, renamed Wang Wen. In 1945 August to join the Chinese Communist Party. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the party sent back to Peiping for underground work. After the peaceful liberation of Peking, he served as secretary of the General Office of Beijing Municipal Party Committee and secretary of Ye Jianying. In 1953 was transferred to Zhongnanhai, deputy secretary general of the CPC Central Committee General Office. Anti-Right eve, because of receiving Lin Xi Ling Zhongnanhai became the first batch of right-wing. After correcting the erroneous rightist group in 1979, he was transferred to the legal system of the NPC
