我們教的是学生,我們的最大目的應該是使學生学得最好。而要使學生学得最好。就不能由我們根据自己的主觀意願來决定一个施教水平,這须根據學生的學習要求和接受能力來决定。一句話:不能使學生遷就教員,教員得遷就學生。但這裹的所謂遷就学生,並不是說要作學生尾巴;所謂根據學生的学习要求和接受能力來决定施教水平,並不是要安排得和學生的學習要求與接受能力不高不低一般平。這裹還不能忽略得逐漸提高他們。就是把施教水平还应該定得比學生的学习要求和接受能力稍微高一點兒;但又决不能高得太多,使學生够不上或够不大上。適當的分寸我以為應該是:使学生聽着有時覺得有點兒吃力,覺得此中还有問题,但再用心鑽研一下,就也能明白了。這樣才能不但教会學生,而且逐漸提高學生。 學生的学习要求和接受能力因所在學校,班級、和他自己的程度而不同。對不同学校和不同班級的學生,必须根据他們不同的具體情况■適當决定不同的施教水平。对一个班中不同的学生,則一般照顧其大多数。个别照顾其特殊的。上述标准太理想了,但也太不具体、太不容易掌握了。这在我們恐怕是没有方法能作到百分之百
