1. Preface In 2013, the country produced 8.385 million tons of electrical steel, up 28.4% from the same period of last year of 6,529,000 tons. Among them, 935,000 tons of oriented electrical steel (567,000 tons of HiB steel) and 7,450,000 tons of non-oriented electrical steel (571,000 tons of high-grade non-oriented electrical steel) were oriented. In 2013, China’s import of resources continued to decline, the domestic resources market share rose sharply. The gradual decline in the volume of imported electrical steel has effectively eased the pressure on the increase in domestic output and provided more space for the increase in the market share of domestic electrical steel products. In 2013, the export volume of electrical steel did not increase or decrease because of the export volume
