球墨铸铁的焊接法一般为气焊法与埋弧焊法,焊后须去应力退火处理。因此,球铁是难焊接材料。为了改善焊件及热影响区的组织及机械性,日本岩手县工业试验场将用于铁水处理的Ga-Si-Ba孕育剂,直接涂覆在过共晶灰口铸铁焊条上,采用TIG(钨极惰性气体保护电弧焊)法,对球墨铸铁实施了焊接试验,证明孕育剂起到了促进石墨核生成的作用,能抑制白口化倾向。其焊缝金属的硬度、抗拉强度都优于母材,只是韧性有所下降。为了改善其韧性,进行了一系列试验,得出如下一些结论。 (1)当孕育剂含Si量2%、焊芯含Si3%~5%时,
Ductile iron welding method is generally gas welding method and submerged arc welding method, the stress should be annealed after welding. Therefore, ductile iron is difficult to weld material. In order to improve the organization and mechanical properties of weldment and heat-affected zone, the Iwate Prefecture Industrial Experimental Station will apply Ga-Si-Ba inoculant for hot metal treatment directly to the over-eutectic gray cast iron electrode. The TIG (Tungsten inert gas shielded arc welding) method, the ductile iron welding tests were carried out to prove inoculant played a role in promoting graphite nucleation, can inhibit the tendency of the white mouth. The weld metal hardness, tensile strength is better than the base metal, but the toughness decreased.
