本文简要介绍了国际上有关濒危语言的讨论 ,提出濒危语言是全球性的问题 ,濒危语言问题是对文化多样性的一个严重的挑战。作者论述了中国少数民族语言使用的情况 ,指出少数民族语言中部分弱势语言已经处在濒危状态 ,有的语言正在消亡或已经消亡 ,语言的消亡是人类不可弥补的巨大损失。作者认为 ,弱势语言的陆续消失是时代的总趋势 ,是语言学家们难以逆转的。在现阶段 ,应重视濒危语言的调查研究 ,抓紧濒危语言资料的抢救和保存 ,并采取有效措施 ,延缓弱势语言向濒危状态的转化 This article briefly introduces the international discussion on endangered languages, proposes that the endangered language is a global issue, and the endangered language issue is a serious challenge to cultural diversity. The author discusses the use of minority languages ​​in China, pointing out that some disadvantaged languages ​​in minority languages ​​are already in danger of being endangered. Some languages ​​are dying out or have already disappeared. The disappearance of languages ​​is a huge irreparable loss to human beings. The author believes that the gradual disappearance of weak languages ​​is the general trend of the times, which is difficult for linguists to reverse. At the present stage, attention should be paid to the investigation and study of endangered languages, the grasping of the rescue and preservation of endangered language materials, and effective measures to delay the conversion of vulnerable languages ​​to the endangered state
