He was an important figure in promoting the development of the exposition in the late Qing Dynasty. His enthusiasm for the Expo was not only inspired by the experience of the West and Japan , But also due to rejuvenation of China’s industry, the restoration of national interest and many other considerations, reflects his concern about the fortunes of the fortunes of the country.
