Introduction In industrial production, large pressure vessels have been used since the late nineteenth century. But manufacturing large pressure vessels with welded structures is still a matter of the 1940s. Both the United States and the Soviet Union started to manufacture large-scale pressure vessels by welding in the early 1940s. Second world countries such as Japan and West Germany began their operations in the 1950s. Since 1958, China has also begun to adopt advanced welding methods to manufacture large-scale pressure vessels. The actual production trend shows that the manufacture of containers is going toward high parameters and large-scale development. This requires that the container be able to adapt to work under more demanding conditions, especially for petroleum spirit
