豫豆16号(原名郑双交8607)系河南省农科院经作所1986年以豫豆10号作母本,GS豫豆8号作父本进行有性杂交,其后代经多年南繁北育,采用系谱法选育而成。1990—1993年省和国家级区域、生产试验结果表明,该品种是一个高产优质抗逆性强适应性广的新品种。1994年省品审会审定通过。
