The discovery of high transition temperature oxide superconductors is a major event in the scientific development of the 20th century. It enables superconducting technology to be performed in the liquid nitrogen temperature zone (77K), which will have an inestimable effect on the future development of science and technology. The most important representative of this invention is a germanium-antimony-copper-oxygen superconductor. The mixed rare earth-bismuth-copper-oxygen superconductor can be comparable to the niobium-bismuth-copper-oxygen superconductor, but its cost is more than ten times lower than its cost. The mixed rare earth oxides produced from rare earth minerals in China are prepared in proportion, characterized by the use of low purity mixed rare earths.
