2011年7月16日,中共江西省委宣传部副部长、江西省文化厅党组书记、厅长李玉英在江西省文化厅有关处室负责人和当地有关领导的陪同下,考察了庐山图书馆。在该馆,李玉英厅长考察了古籍保护工作,在古籍善本书库,她翻阅了馆藏善本书目录,仔细观赏入选《国家珍贵古籍名录》的珍本古籍。李玉英厅长还兴致勃勃地来到报刊阅览室和旅游文献阅览室。看到阅览室内座无虚席,还有许多外地游客时,她亲切的与读者交谈,了解读者的需求情况。她要求,图书馆要认真做好免费开放工作,并将其真正落到实处,同时还要不断提高服务水平,切实服务好广大人民群众。
On July 16, 2011, Li Yuying, deputy secretary of Propaganda Department of Jiangxi Provincial CPC Committee and party secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture, visited the Lushan Library accompanied by relevant department heads and local leaders of Jiangxi Provincial Department of Culture. In the museum, Li Yuying, director of the inspection of the protection of ancient books, rare books in the ancient library, she read through the catalog of rare books, carefully watch selected “National Catalog of precious books,” the rare books. Director Li Yuying also happily came to newspaper reading room and tourism literature reading room. To see the reading room packed, there are many foreign tourists, she kindly talked with the reader to understand the needs of readers. She demanded that the library should conscientiously do its work in a free and open manner and implement it in a down-to-earth manner. At the same time, it should also constantly improve its service level and effectively serve the broad masses of the people.
