生态社会主义运动的目的,是建立一个全新的基于生态理性、民主控制、社会平等以及使用价值高于交换价值的社会。实现这些目标需要实行:生产资料的集体所有;民主的经济计划,使投资与生产的目标由社会来制定;在整个生产领域改用全新的技术体系。一句话,这是一次革命性的社会与经济转变。革命不是历史的火车头,而是人类对火车的紧急刹车,在它跌入深渊之前。
The purpose of the eco-socialist movement is to establish a brand-new society based on ecological rationality, democratic control, social equality and the use value above the exchange value. Achieving these goals requires the implementation of a collective ownership of the means of production; a democratic economic plan that sets the goals of investment and production socially; and the introduction of entirely new technological systems throughout the productive sector. In a word, this is a revolutionary social and economic change. Revolution is not a historical locomotive, but an emergency brake of human beings before it plunges into the abyss.
