书法一直是我的业余爱好。匡亚明校长是当时南京大学的校长,他倡导学习书法要继承传统,善于创新,我一直受他的影响。后来还编了一本《当代硬笔书法》杂志,是赵朴初题的,我做的主编。那时虽年轻,但还是推动了硬笔书法的发展,像刘炳森老师当时就是硬笔书法的支持者。我与刘老师也是因为硬笔书法熟悉的,当时是全国第二届硬笔书法展,我是副秘书长。那几年,硬笔书法持续了一段时间。对于书法的学习,我觉得首先是爱好,没有爱好做什么都不行,有了爱好才会对书法乐此不疲。 Calligraphy has always been my hobby. For the study of calligraphy, I think the first is hobby, no hobbies do nothing, with love will never bored on the calligraphy.
