素质教育的发展对中学地理课程教学改革提出了新的要求。在新形势下,中学阶段应该逐步摒弃对地理学科教学的偏见,将地理学科的功能和作用完美地发挥出来,通过多种教学手段提升中学地理教学的时效性。在前人研究的基础上对“立体教学”的含义与内容进行充分解读,并针对当前中学教育的发展现状提出合理的“立体教学”方法实施策略,希望对我国基础教育的发展有一定的指导意义。
