元认知策略是学习者对自身学习过程的自我认识和自我调控。作者通过调查,发现学习者的学习策略特别是元认知能力缺乏是目前制约大学英语写作成效的重要原因。进行元认知策略的培训有助于提高大学英语学习者的写作水平,在转变学生的学习观念和培养其自主学习能力方面也有很大的作用。
Metacognitive strategy is the learner’s self-awareness and self-regulation of the learning process. Through the investigation, the author finds that the learning strategies of learners, especially the lack of metacognitive ability, are the main reasons that restrict the effectiveness of college English writing. The training of metacognitive strategy helps to improve the writing ability of college English learners, and plays a significant role in changing students’ learning concepts and developing their autonomous learning ability.
