对学生进行基本技能训练,这是生物学科教学的一个不容忽视的问题。課堂中的观察和实驗、課外小組的活动、学校园地的实习作业等,都是进行基本技能训练的手段。而家庭实驗作业則是弥补上述各方面不足的最好方法之一,特別对于走讀生更是如此。植物学中有些实驗和观察,是在一、两节課中就能完成的,但是也有些实驗和观察,卻需要較长的时間。如“播种深度与幼苗出土的关系”、“植物的生长运动”、“除去頂芽对植物生长的影响”等。这些需时較长的实驗,教师可領导学生在学校园地上做,也可作为家庭实驗作业,要求学生在家中做。
Basic skills training for students is a problem that cannot be ignored in the teaching of biology. Observations and experiments in the classroom, activities of extra-curricular groups, and internships in the school grounds are the means for basic skills training. Homework assignments are one of the best ways to make up for these deficiencies, especially for day students. Some experiments and observations in botany can be done in one or two lessons, but some experiments and observations take longer. Such as “the relationship between seeding depth and seedling unearthing”, “plant growth movement”, “the removal of the top buds on plant growth,” and so on. For these long-running experiments, teachers can lead students to do in the school grounds, and can also be used as home lab assignments and require students to do it at home.
