广东工业大学艺术设计学院依托于广东工业大学强势的工科背景,由原来分散在各学院的艺术类专业整合后,于2004年3月成立,办学地点设置在广东工业大学东风路校区。现有工业设计、服装设计、服装工程、艺术设计、包装装潢等5个专业方向,在校学生1009人,教职工40多人。艺术设计学院将于2004年12月28日在广东工业大学东风路校区举行隆重的揭牌仪式,届时,学校领导、国内外美术及艺术设计界、国内主要艺术院校的专家学者将亲临现场,为广东工业大学艺术设计学院的美好明天表示祝贺。
Guangdong University of Technology College of Art and Design, relying on the strong background of engineering background of Guangdong University of Technology, was established in March 2004 after the integration of art specialty scattered in various colleges and universities. The school location was set up at Dongfeng Road Campus of Guangdong University of Technology.
