迅速的城市化进程在改变乡村旧貌的同时,也带来了湮没传统文化、破坏生态环境、扼杀地域个性等诸种恶果。出于对“城市化”本身作出的深刻反思和城乡等值的社会理想,一些怀有人文抱负的当代艺术工作者,积极探索着“艺术激活乡村”的独特方式,为新农村建设开辟一条有效的蹊径。这些经验在中国是否具有推广价值,尚需实践来证明。但是这些尝试不断地提示着我们,除了物质建设,必须深入到人文层面去思考“城市化”的真实内涵和发展方向,思考国人与土地之间的关系,思考究竟什么样的生活才能真正令农民幸福。
