人们赶到河边时,看见草丛上只放着一只红色塑料桶和一根渔竿.河面宽阔、平静,漂浮的树枝和潜水搜寻的村民,不时卷动着细微的浪花.江岸上,不断有人从水里爬上来,又有人跳下水去.rn天色渐晚.中午时刚下过一场大雨,但空气依旧闷热.太阳烘烤着大地,一团团湿闷的热气,在树林密不透风的枝蔓间,在茂盛丛生的草叶间,在四处铺展的稻田上,翻旋,凝滞,经久不散.一会儿,暮色又仿佛一条厚实的帘子黏稠地落下来,在重重紧裹下,每个人都感到浑身黏滞、火辣,滋滋冒着热汗.
