Continuous-wave single frequency (SF),narrow bandwidth optical fiber lasers have attracted much research interest in the past decades due to their potential applications in optical communications,[1-7]radio-over-fiber (ROF),[s-10] lidars[11-13] and optical fiber sensors.[14-19] Meanwhile,many applications demand single polarization (SP),SF laser sources.[20]However,stable operation of SP,SF fiber laser is rather difficult to realize because of mode competition between longitudinal modes as well as polarization modes within a laser cavity.
