Saving fuel power resources is an important task of the national economy. There is still considerable potential for the transport sector to be uncovered. For example, large quantities of diesel fuel can be saved during the transport of perishable goods on a single mechanical refrigerator truck (APB). Research by the Soviet Railway Institute of Transportation shows that diesel generators run on single-unit refrigerated trucks in about 70% of the time of the year, with about 80 kilograms of fuel being wasted per generator day and night.
