超低损耗光纤能显著降低光信号在传输过程中的损耗,在长距、超长距光通信传输中广泛应用。在高海拔、低温、沙尘等极端情况下进行光纤熔接时,接续点纤芯的衰耗值易出现超出正常范围的现象。如何降低超低损光纤在特定地理条件下的熔接损耗,满足超长距离的传输要求,变得尤为重要。
Ultra-low loss optical fiber can significantly reduce the optical signal transmission loss, widely used in long-distance, ultra-long-distance optical communications transmission. At high altitude, low temperature, dust and other extreme cases of fiber splicing, the loss of the core fiber connection point prone to out of the normal range of phenomena. How to reduce the ultra-low loss optical fiber in a specific geographical conditions of the welding loss, to meet the long distance transmission requirements, has become particularly important.
