由北爱尔兰工业大学等单位研制成功的可弯曲的混凝土,可拿在手上任意弯曲,强度不变,比普遍混凝土轻四倍多,并具有绝缘性能。弯曲混凝土是选用一种由聚丙烯编制材料作为衬布,用水泥复合制成。工艺是在一层聚丙烯上刷一层很薄的水泥涂层,层厚不超过1毫米,然后再铺一层聚丙烯,涂刷一层水泥;如此反复,直达所需厚度为止。如果制品需要高度绝缘,可在生产前把聚丙烯微粒加到混凝土中。
The flexible concrete developed by Northern Ireland Institute of Technology and other institutes can be flexibly bent in the hand without any change in strength, more than four times lighter than common concrete, and has insulating properties. Curved concrete is made of a polypropylene material as a lining material, made of cement composite. The process is to brush a layer of polypropylene on a thin layer of cement coating, layer thickness of not more than 1 mm, and then shop a layer of polypropylene, brushing a layer of cement; so repeated, until the desired thickness so far. If the product needs a high degree of insulation, polypropylene particles can be added to the concrete before production.
