红枣,又叫大枣、良枣,为鼠李科植物枣的成熟果实,是我国特产之一。红枣,皮薄肉厚,甘甜适中,系春夏秋冬进补之佳品。红枣,产于我国的河北、山东、河南、陕西、甘肃、山西等地,已有三千余年的历史,《山海经》、《诗经》、《尔雅》、《广志》、《齐民要术》等古籍均有记载,最早的医书《神农本草经》还将山东的大红枣、天津的大红枣、河北的金丝小枣等列为上品。据科学测定,红枣中含有极丰富的蛋白质、脂肪、糖类、碳水化合物、多种维生素、酒石酸、苹果酸、尼核酸等
