震惊世界的卢沟桥事变爆发50周年前夕,在北京西南郊的卢沟桥畔,一座宏伟的建筑落成了,它就是受到国内外重视的中国人民抗日战争纪念馆。自1987年7月7日落成到现在,抗日战争纪念馆已经走过了五年的历程。五年来在中央及北京市领导部门的关怀和国内外各界人士的大力支持下,中国人民抗日战争纪念馆不断发展,已初步成为对人民进行爱国主义教育的大课堂,研究中国抗日战争史的重要基地,和加强国际交流,增进与国外友好人士联系的桥梁。
