Methylotrophic bacterium No1 methylamine dehydrogenase is a special oxidoreductase that uses tryptophan-tryptamine as a prosthetic group. After the crude enzyme solution was purified, its specific activity and yield were 5.1nmol · g-1 and 28%. The enzyme has a molecular weight of 67,000 and isoelectric points of 8.3 and 8.5.
