随着我国经济发展的不断深入,与各国交流日趋扩大,既掌握专业知识又精通英语的复合型人才无疑在社会中越来越具有竞争力。经过国家的几次教育改革,大学的英语教学质量有了很大提升,但学习者大多都是通过书面语学习英语,虽然大学英语教学对口语有了比以往更高的重视,英语课程教学改革由重视语言知识的传授向语言知识与语言技能并重转变,在很大程度上对加强口语教学起到了很好的作用,学生“开口难”的现象仍然存在。其原因无外乎以下几点。
