中南矿冶学院地质系今年建立了“探矿工程实习基地”，暑期时，探矿工程专业的同学第一次在此基地上进行了教学实习，实习内容包括：平硐掘进、浅井掘进、地表抛郑爆破、锻钎、压风机等。同学们在教师及技术工人的指导下，亲自完成了所有的工序，初步掌握了这方面的实际操作技能，这对培养具有理论及实际工作能力的未来探矿工程师是一个很重要的步骤。在实习基地上进行教学实习表明比在矿山或勘探队实习优点更多，因此明年他们亦将在此基地上进行钻探教学实习。以后每年将有大批同学在此进行钻探与掘进的教学实习。
Zhongnan Institute of Mining and Metallurgy Department of Geology this year established a “prospecting engineering practice base”, summer, prospecting engineering students for the first time in this base for teaching internships, internships include: tunneling, shallow tunneling, surface throwing Zheng Blasting, forging brazing, pressure blower and so on. Under the guidance of teachers and skilled workers, the students completed all the processes themselves and initially mastered practical skills in this area. This is an important step in training prospective prospecting engineers with theoretical and practical capabilities. Teaching internships at internship bases show more advantages than internships at mines or exploration teams, so next year they will also drill into the internship at the base. After each year there will be a large number of students in this drilling and driving teaching internship.
