随着时代的发展,幼儿英语教育成为社会关注的要点。实践证明:让幼儿在语言发育时期就接触英语,是培养幼儿英语感觉的启蒙阶段,也是最佳时期。同时国家新颁布的《英语课程标准》明确指出:基础教育阶段英语课程的任务是激发和培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立自信心,养成良好的学习习惯和形成有效的学习策略,发展自主学习的能力和合作精神……所以教师必须重视幼儿英语兴趣的培养,并且采用多样的教学方法,营造轻松自由、生动有趣的学习环境,以此来激发幼儿学习英语的兴趣。
