从1950年到2000年,教育部共进行了7次体育课程改革,这些改革很大程度上促进了学生的身体健康,而且为学生的发展和成长积累了宝贵经验。初中的体育教学,注重强调的应该是广大教师通过发挥主观能动性,对体育课堂提出更多的教育方法和教育内容。体育游戏能使学生对体育课产生更浓厚的兴趣,容易接受教学内容,体育游戏也能够成为开发初中学生德、智、体全面发展的有效手段。初中的学习任务相对来说是比较重的,学生很容易在生活和学习中迷失自我,形成升学压力,这时在体育中加入体育游戏就会更好地满足体育课堂的要求,对学校体育进行补充,实现学生的素质教育。
