1992年藤仓公司向中国电力公司提供了一根66KV交联聚乙烯(XLPE)绝缘电线/光纤复合海缆.海缆可能会遭受船锚或捕鱼设备严重的机械损伤.检测海缆的机械损伤,是提高海缆传输线可靠性的一种极为有用的技术.中国电力公司和藤仓公司研制出机械损坏检测光纤传感器.制作了一根试验用含机械损坏检测传感器的66kV XLPE海缆,压缩试验证实了该传感器的可行性.光纤受外来因素损坏时,传输损耗会增加.我们可以通过观测被检光纤的损耗来检测海缆的受损程度.我们制作了含有传感器的66kV XLPE海缆,并把该缆敷设于日本濑户岛海作为“土庄町线”.我们还安装了检测受损海缆的监控系统.
Fujikura provided a 66KV XLPE insulated wire / fiber composite submarine cable to China Power Corporation in 1992. Submarine cables may suffer serious mechanical damage from anchors or fishing equipment. Damage is an extremely useful technique to improve the reliability of the transmission line of the submarine cable.Chinese electric power company and Fujikura Co., Ltd. developed the mechanical damage detection optical fiber sensor.A test was made to test the 66kV XLPE submarine cable with mechanical damage detection sensor, The experiment verified the feasibility of this sensor.The transmission loss will increase when the optical fiber is damaged by external factors.We can detect the damage degree of the submarine cable by observing the loss of the fiber under test.We made the 66kV XLPE submarine cable with the sensor, And laid the cable in Seto Island, Japan as “Tonosho-cho Line.” We also installed a monitoring system to detect damaged submarines.
