熊希龄于1908-1909年在苏宁担任陈启泰和端方幕僚期间,有过一段振兴当地实业的经历:即帮助陈启泰筹划整顿苏省实业公司,厘定苏省农工商总局局制,归并经费,筹设商品陈列馆和农业实验场;帮助端方在南京办理南洋印刷官厂;并且还与当地绅士筹建宝应长湖垦殖股份有限公司。其兴利除弊、振作创新的抱负,勇于任事、通权达变的才具,值得后人敬仰和称道。
During the period 1908-1909, Xun Xiling held a rejuvenation of local industry during his tenure as Chen Qitai and Duanfanggui in Suning: helping Chen Qitai to plan the reorganization of Su Zhou Industrial Co., determining the bureau system of SuZhou Agriculture and Industry Bureau, merging funds, and preparing goods Exhibition hall and agricultural experiment field; help Duanfang Nanyang printing bureau in Nanjing; and also with the local gentleman to build Baoying Changhu Horticulture Co., Ltd.. Its advantages and disadvantages, cheer innovation and ambition, the courage to work, the right to change the talent, it is worth admiration and commendation.
