在即将到来的21世纪,电子 数据交换(EDI—Elec- tronic Data Interchange)将成为人们进行贸易的一种主要形式。电子数据交换(EDI)就是依靠现代电子技术,采用统一的报文标准和结构化数据进行信息传输来代替传统的纸面单证传递,从而完成各类贸易和商务活动。这就是近几年人们常说到的“无纸贸易”。由于无纸贸易的出现从根本上革新了商务活动的方式,它势必对21世纪的商业产生巨大的冲击与革命性的变革。
In the upcoming 21st century, EDI-Electronic Data Interchange will become a major form of trade for people. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is relying on modern electronic technology, using uniform message standards and structured data for information transmission to replace traditional paper-based document transmission, thus completing various types of trade and business activities. This is the “paperless trade” people often talk about in recent years. Since the emergence of a paperless trade has fundamentally revolutionized the way business activities are conducted, it will inevitably have tremendous impact and revolutionary changes on business in the 21st century.
