A new study by psychologists at the University of Colorado showed that cognitive function and short-term memory were even worse when a person who slept for eight hours had his eyes open when awake, compared with people who lacked sleep . It shows that the “magic bullet” that has been consistently respected - a good night’s sleep - actually has its downside.
