Objective: To observe the effect of Tangweikang Capsule (糖微康, T WK) on diabetic nephro pathy (DN). Methods: The 119 DN patients were divide d into two groups: the group of TWK treatment (n=78) and group of captopril (n=41) as the control, the d ose of which was 50 mg/d. The treatment lasted for 12 weeks. The changes of symp t om score, urinary microprotein series, blood glucose, renal function, etc. were observed. Results: The total effective rate of the T WK group was 84.62%; and tha t of the control group was 70.73%, there was significant difference between the two groups (P
