以杂种榕萍1号为父本,以榕萍1号原母本小叶满江红为母本进行回交,获得回交满江红3号(MH3-1),脂酶同功酶谱等鉴定为真杂种。其抗热能力和耐盐性均比父母本及其他满江红为高,品质好,繁殖速度快,适用于我国南方晚季和滨海盐土开发利用。回交满江红3号较其他萍种在细胞内超氧化物歧化酶和过氧化物酶均有大幅度提高,是回交满江红3号免受盐害的生理基础之一。
