根据《幼儿园教育指导纲要》,学前教育中要培养幼儿语言、社会、科学、艺术等领域,从不同的角度促进幼儿情感、态度、能力、知识、技能等方面的发展。目前,音乐、美术、舞蹈的教学工作由女教师完成。体育内容的课程,例如:足球、武术、跑步等项目,配备男教师,采用专职授课的方式,而不是把男教师配备担当主班和配班。男教师按照课表为各班级上课。在男教师配备不足的情况下每个班级都有男教师上的课程。通过男教师言传身教,使得男儿童表现阳刚气质,女孩活泼开朗。
