在人类进入21世纪的今天,现代学科体系正呈现出纷繁复杂、蓬勃发展的局面。科学研究体现了一条规律,即高度分化却又密度渗透,高度交叉而又深度融合。学术环境打破了单一学科、单向专业的局限,趋向众多的、新兴的学科,趋向有特色、有优势的专业。针对这个特点,学科在发展的过程中,打破了稳定的结构形态,随着新的生长点的出现,新的分支学科、边缘学科、综合学科应运而生。随之而来的学科建设面临两方面的革新。关于学科结构形态的更新。传统学科的结构建立在知识增长(科学研究)、知识传播(人才培养)上,新兴的学科结构要增加知识利用(科技产业),使知识增长、传播、利用三者有机的结合,使培养的人才不仅有应对的知识,而且具有高度应对的能力,高度创造性的思维。面向新世纪的经济建设,面向未来的科技发展,在学科建设方面,寻求知识与社会发展的结合点显得十分重要。学科建设,应选择有利于学科交叉、综合的途径,强化知识利用,促进创新成果的出现和转化,以新世纪的科学技术、社会发展来设计、构建新的学科体系。现代科
