肯贵阿1号是用抗源累加杂交的方法育成的。它是目前抗我国条锈、叶锈、秆锈和白粉病菌的主要优势小种。抗白粉病性属显性简单遗传,具有一对显性抗白粉病基因。肯贵阿1号与感染白粉病的小麦品种杂交,F_1表现抗病,F_2抗病株与感病株之比为3∶1。肯贵阿1号抗条锈、叶锈、秆锈病的遗传,初步确定为显性简单遗传。肯贵阿1号的抗三锈性和抗白粉病性容易遗传给后代,因而是一个较好的小麦新抗源。
