我国加入 WTO,对于促进我国市场经济体制的建立,提高经济竞争力和综合国力意义十分重大。然而,随之而来的劳动问题也将会更加突出,国有、集体和民营企业面临着市场竞争的严峻挑战;竞争乏力的直接结果,就是将有一批企业破产、重组或者被外资并购,从而加剧目前的失业问题,而失业的增加,又会导致工资、社会保障和劳动保护等问题更加严重。在劳动力供过于求的条件下,劳动者权益的保障更应引起我们的高度重视。
China's accession to the WTO is very significant for promoting the establishment of China's market economy system, enhancing economic competitiveness and overall national strength. However, the ensuing labor issues will also be more prominent, with the state-owned, collective and private-owned enterprises facing the severe challenge of market competition. The direct result of the weak competition is the bankruptcy, reorganization or mergers and acquisitions by a group of enterprises, which will aggravate the problem. The current unemployment problem, coupled with the increase of unemployment, can in turn lead to more serious problems of wages, social security and labor protection. Under the condition of oversupply of labor force, the protection of workers' rights and interests should draw more attention from us.
