我建議搞出版工作的人,要处处多为讀者設想一下。因为我觉得在某些出版物中,对这一点是考虑得不够的。例如《斯大林全集》一共有13卷,既沒有一本总目录,書脊上也沒有印上本卷所輯的文章写于何年,于是,为了查一篇文章,往往得翻上好几本書。《斯大林全集》只13本,《列宁全集》、《馬克思恩格斯全集》却都有三、四十卷,試想讀者在查文章中將要花掉多少时間?
I suggest that people who engage in publishing work, should be more for readers to imagine. Because I think in some publications, this is not considered enough. For example, there were 13 volumes in the Complete Works of Stalin. There was neither a general catalog nor any date on the spine printed in this volume. Therefore, in order to check an article, it is often necessary to turn over several books. There are only 13 books in Stalin’s Complete Works, the Complete Works of Lenin, and the Complete Works of Marx and Engels but each has three or 40 volumes. Just imagine how much time readers will spend in checking articles.
