Objective To analyze the safety of split type and integral type Y vein indwelling needle in clinical use. Methods From January 2014 to December 2015, the use of venous split (Calefacient + indwelling needle) and integrated Y-type indwelling needle in 200 patients was studied. The incidence of complications and effective nursing measures . Results In the clinical use, the observation group adopted the integrated Y-type vein indwelling needle, and the control group received the split-type vein indwelling needle, all of which were kept for 6 days. The time from indwelling time, phlebitis, fluid extravasation, catheter obstruction, Limb swelling in these areas were significantly better than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The integrated Y-shaped vein indwelling needle has a better sterility than the split-type vein indwelling needle and is more easily manipulated by patients and less likely to develop complications than the split indwelling needle.
