运用冈底斯带矿石和岩石的Ag/Au比值作参数进行区域性填图表明,冈底斯带陆内深大断裂和断裂带控制了Ag/Au等值线高值区的展布.Ag/Au等值线高值区应反映矿化集中区的浅部带,而Ag/Au等值线强变化梯度带应为矿化集中区与离散区的边缘带.在冈底斯带中段,金银矿化集中区主要分布于北西向的措勤-日喀则一带、北东向的羊八井一带和东西向的拉萨-工布江达一带.冈底斯带西部金银矿化仅经历过较轻度剥蚀,而东部则可能经历了中度剥蚀.因此在冈底斯带西部找原生金银矿的前景最佳.
