In popular cognition, reasoning novels are the most novel type of novels with logical deduction. In this article, I try to use traditional Chinese classical intuition to comprehend the opposite view of the reasoning called “the father of reasoning novels” Edgar Allan Poe’s reasoning novel, found that the mystery of his reasoning novels “terror ” Much of it does not come from meticulous logical reasoning. On the contrary, this charm stems partly from the traits of relative “intuition” and “ambiguity” in his novels, as embodied in linguistic superlogistics Sexuality, the vagueness of plot design and the integrity of thinking. The research on these traits not only provides a new research perspective on Allan Poe’s study of Chinese classical philosophy, but also provides a new inspiration for the creation and study of China’s reasoning novels under the current consumption context.
